I am one of the managing directors at Injury Treatment, responsible for overseeing the financial, IT, marketing and administrative functions as well as ensuring the Injury Treatment mission statement is achieved and the organisational values are upheld at Injury Treatment:
Injury Treatment is committed to delivering customised clinical consulting expertise, enabling organisations to achieve sustainable workplace injury management results.
- To build a great firm that is able to attract, develop, excite, and retain exceptional clinical consultants
- To deliver customised consulting services which add value for our customers at all times
- To emphasise quality of intervention and clarity of reporting
- To focus on the development of innovative products that meet the changing needs of the injury management industry
Describe the type of work you do and what your average day entails:
A diverse, interesting and challenging stable of projects. Essentially a project managing role ensuring continuous improvement of Injury Treatment’s systems and processes balanced with being a face for the organisation in account management and business development interactions with our customers.
What has been your greatest career achievement whilst working at Injury Treatment?
Growth of the organisation to becoming responsible for the livelihoods of over 30 individuals.
Why do you like working at Injury Treatment?
The lack of bureaucracy enabling organisational growth through the collective input of the company’s individuals. Seeing the results of our targeting a niche in the market; that being the meeting of organisations’ desires for mature, experienced consultants to provide strong clinical consulting services.
What would you say to someone thinking of working at Injury Treatment?
Be thorough in your decision making process. Injury Treatment affords a high level of benefits and autonomy, however expects our team to be operating at a level far above the mediocre performers in the industry. This is not for everyone!
What don’t we know about you?
I achieve my work/life balance with a strong division between work and home life. Especially with a wife who works for the same company! Exercise, yoga, cinema, theatre, eating out, winter sports, time with friends.
