Describe your career at Injury Treatment:

I have recently been employed at Injury Treatment as a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant for the Same Employer Team in Newcastle. I hope to utilize my previous experience to grow the Injury Treatment Services in the Newcastle area. My previous experience includes developing national manual handling/functional education training package for a mining company, assisting a care organization to achieve accreditation standards for OHS Premium Discount Scheme, working as an IMA/RTW Coordinator for a care organization in an outsourced role and developing early intervention fixed cost models for two rehabilitation providers.

Describe the type of work you do and what your average day entails:

My day involves conducting initial needs assessments for a variety of clients, undertaking complex case management, assessments and training.

What has been your greatest career achievement whilst working at Injury Treatment?

Working with an experienced team of highly professional consultants as well as the opportunity to utilize my account management and business development skills to grows Injury Treatment’s Corporate customer base.

Why do you like working at Injury Treatment?

On joining Injury Treatment, Kim’s desire was to continue to provide effective RTW solutions for her customers and injured workers. Kim’s motivation to work at Injury Treatment was motivated by Injury Treatment’s rehabilitation model which is aligned with this philosophy. Kim loves the focus on quality outcomes rather than the industry standard focus on revenue and growth. Opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of allied health professionals to develop and implement progressive and innovative occupational rehabilitation programs

What don’t we know about you?

Kim used to sing original and cover songs for several Newcastle based bands and as a sessional singer for many local recording artists. She also loves to make and sell handmade baby knits for local boutiques. She devotes the rest of her time looking after her family of three young children.
