The directors of Injury Treatment have combined experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry of 15 years. The directors are Brooke Taylor (Bachelor Occupational Therapy, Graduate Cert in Corporate Management) & Jeremy Keane (Bachelor Physiotherapy and Masters in Business Administration). With approximately seven years in the NSW Occupational Rehab Industry and approximately 3 in Victoria, we have grown to understand the true meaning of quality and that this can only be achieved with exceptional, mature staff. As such, we have we don’t employ any new graduates, a common recruitment strategy in this industry.
Our Quality Manager, Ms. Diane Beaglehole, has an honours degree in psychology with extensive experience in the provision and management of Workers Compensation Services at a general manager level. She has both private sector and government experience (combined 10 years) and brings her specialist interest in psychological injuries and case management to Injury Treatment.
A major source of advantage exists in the extensive combined industry experience of our management team and our high calibre Consultants.

Brooke Taylor
Injury Treatment Director
(Occupational Therapist)
Ms. Brooke Taylor originally qualified as an Occupational Therapist in Melbourne before completing her post graduate management training. Ms. Taylor is one of the Creators and Directors of Injury Treatment.
As the Creator of Injury Treatment, Ms. Taylor has a vested interested in the company’s success, reputation and products. As such, she has developed a fresh and innovative organisation which is superior to competitors, providing a service offering which encompasses a full medical and health clinical consulting model as opposed to the traditional “rehab provider” regimented approach. Ms. Taylor’s high levels of energy and ability to motivate those around her have enabled her to attract and retain the industry’s top performers as staff at Injury Treatment. Her passion is success and getting results legitimately, promptly and cost effectively and this philosophy is embedded in all Injury Treatment Staff and evident in the success of Injury Treatment and its people.
Jeremy Keane
Injury Treatment Director
(Physiotherapist)
Mr. Jeremy Keane (B. Physio, MBA) originally qualified as a physiotherapist in Melbourne. More recently he completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA, Melbourne Business School) and is one of the Creators and Directors of Injury Treatment.
Mr. Keane’s clinical background boasts extensive sports and musculo-skeletal clinical physiotherapy. Specially, Mr. Keane has clinically supported a number of elite sport teams, including the Australian Mogul Team, Victorian Rugby Union, VSFL Australian Rules Football, and the Melbourne Reds Baseball Team.
Following approximately 5 years clinical experience, Mr. Keane then joined the Occupational Rehabilitation industry and brings over 8 years medical and rehabilitation experience. Mr. Keane’s underlying case management and clinical skills in diagnosis; exercise prescription; referral instruction; postural management and development of gym programs enable him to promptly progress injured clients to a position of independence.
Mr. Keane also currently consults to the medical device industry with over 4 years experience in the development and delivery of tissue regeneration products to the surgical industry. Specifically, Mr. Keane has developed expertise in the development, clinical research, delivery to market and rehabilitation implications of hyaline cartilage and bone regeneration for surgical patients.
Mr. Chris Methven
Operations Manager
(Physiotherapist)
Mr. Methven has over 15 years clinical consulting experience, including provision of functional physiotherapy programs, onsite physiotherapy services, occupational rehabilitation consulting, and injury management advisory services. Mr. Methven has worked in several management roles in the insurance, allied health treatment, and occupational rehabilitation industries.
Mr. Methven’s has several years experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders as a physiotherapist. A particular area of expertise stems from 5 years of experience in the provision of functional physiotherapy programs and the assessment of musculoskeletal/psychosocial and functional barriers to return to work.
Additionally, Mr. Methven’s health management background has equipped him as an ideal person to coach the Injury Treatment team towards solid and sustainable clinical outcomes.
Tara Messiter
Physiotherapist
Ms. Tara Messiter graduated from her physiotherapy degree in 1994 and then chose to specialise in sports injury management before entering the OHS and rehabilitation industry. Ms. Messiter’s clinical expertise combined with her attention to detail and passion to make a difference has kept her in the industry for over 12 years. She is extraordinary in empowering people to make behavioural changes which in turn result in outcomes for all stakeholders involved. An area of interest for Ms. Messiter is the provision of health lifestyle Programs and nutritional and dietary advice.
As a well know top performer in the NSW Industry, Ms. Messiter had been involved in the creation, design and delivery of various training programs across many industries. Many of these have had an underlying focus on minimising premiums as a result of getting the long term injured and un-employed back to work.
Ms. Messiter’s outgoing personality; high levels of energy and ability to motivate those around her have kept her in high demand from her customers over the last decade. Mr. Messiter has over 8 years experience managing tail claims and 3 years experience in the design, development and implementation of tail claims projects.
Ms. Natalie Perkins
Physiotherapist
Ms. Natalie Perkins is a qualified physiotherapist as well as holding a bachelor of science, majoring in exercise physiology and physiology. With over 15 years clinical experience, she has extensive professional sports therapy experience, including the Australian Winter Olympic Team, the National Gymnastics Championships and Sydney University Rugby Union.
More recently, Ms. Perkins has specialised in the assessment and treatment of chronic and complex spinal disorders with an emphasis of restoration of human bio-mechanics. In doing so, she established the Sydney Whiplash Centre which boasts the only Multi-Cervical Rehabilitation Unit (state of the art force transducer) in NSW.
Ms. Perkins is extremely knowledgeable and practical when assessing, treating and managing injured clients. She emphasises evidence-based parameters for return to work timeframes and can confidently and promptly prescribe bio-mechanical postural and stabilising programs as well as prescription of preventative measures to not only address the presenting signs and symptoms but minimise the risk of injury re-occurrence.
Ms. Fiona Condie
Physiotherapist
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 1987, Ms. Condie has gained 18 years of experience working within the physiotherapy field. This experience includes time spent working within both public and private institutes and involves Orthopaedics, Neurology, Paediatrics and her main area of interest has been the Musculoskeletal area.
Overall, she has gained 14 years experience in the Musculoskeletal field. Whilst working in the public system, her time has included: managing a physiotherapy outpatient department at a Sydney Hospital; and performing as a clinical supervisor for undergraduate physiotherapists. In 2001, Ms. Condie completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Sydney University.
Prior to joining the Injury Treatment Team, Ms. Condie had been working clinically for the last 11 years in one of Sydney’s premiere private practises and over this time she progressed to a Senior Associate. Ms. Condie has a particular interest in human movement, and has been involved in the development and instruction of movement and therapeutic exercise classes during the last 5 years.
Ms. Condie provides exceptional Programs for the long-term injured and unemployed with an underlying focus on restoring normal patterns of movement, improving posture and strength, improving ADL’s and most importantly returning clients to the pre-injury positions of employment.
Mr. Adrian Fortescue
Physiotherapist
Mr. Adrian Fortescue has over 8 years experience as a registered physiotherapist, graduating in 1999 from the University of Sydney. His clinical experience saw him working extensively with compensable injured clients in a private practice environment providing sustainable treatment and return to work solutions.
Mr. Fortescue’s primary focus is workplace rehabilitation and as such he consistently displays superior negotiation skills with treating doctors, specialists and other professionals to ensure best practice intervention is provided which not only results in injury resolution but enables a timely upgrade to work capacity.
Mr. Fortescue has worked in the Occupational Rehabilitation Industry since 2003 and became a registered Workhab Functional Assessor in January 2004. Since this time Adrian has completed over 50 functional assessments both working in Sydney and London.
Mr. Robert Daking
Physiotherapist
Mr Daking is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience in the public and private sector. After graduating in 2000, Mr Daking has worked in a number of large teaching hospitals in the UK and New Zealand leading a number of musculoskeletal out-patient departments. Further education in manipulative / sports physiotherapy has allowed Mr Daking to work as an expert in the assessment of both spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal conditions.
Through previous roles as a lecturer in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and as the lead clinician responsible for the supervision of students in a number of teaching hospitals, this experience has given Mr Daking the ability to clinically reason complex patient presentations and to educate others on evidence based approaches to treatment.
Mr Daking has experience in managing the provision of work conditioning services and occupational rehabilitation services to major NSW insurers, manual handling education to prevent and manage injuries in employees, pre-employment medicals and functional capacity assessments.
Ms. Jenny Robinson
Physiotherapist
Ms. Robinson graduated from her physiotherapy degree in 1997 and commenced private practise injury management before entering the NSW workers compensation industry.
Ms. Robinson has exceptional clinical expertise and her passion to help others has afforded her a successful career in the occupational industry for the past 7 years.
Ms. Robinson’s customers’ truly value her expertise and levels of motivation when getting the long term injured and un-employed back to work. As such, she is regularly in demand which encourages her to continue to deliver well above the WorkCover benchmarks.
Ms. Juliet Maynard
Physiotherapist and Ergonomist
Juliet Maynard is an ergonomist and physiotherapist, she holds a Graduate Certificate in Ergonomics and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). She has over 14 years experience working in private practice, occupational physiotherapy and ergonomics in Australia and the UK. Juliet has worked extensively in occupational health and rehabilitation across different industries including administration, call centres, warehousing, hospitals, printing, motor vehicle servicing and manufacturing.
Her special interest lies in proactively managing injury risks within the workplace and the provision of industrial physiotherapy and ergonomic consultancy services. Juliet is experienced in examining occupational health issues within a variety of workplaces through effective task analysis, evaluating workplace environment, working postures and working practices and implementing appropriate solutions. She is currently a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia and the Ergonomics Society UK. Juliet has post graduate qualifications in Safety Science (Ergonomics) from UNSW.
Dr. Lyn Guy
Pain Management Specialist and Physiotherapist
Lyn joins Injury Treatment with over 28 years of experience in the Worker’s Compensation Industry. Lyn has worked in many varied roles within the industry including as a consultant, Injury Management Advisor, Case Manager, OHS and Injury Manager to name a few.
Lyn completed her PHD in the Meanings of Chronic Pain as a Biological Disruption and also has Graduate Certificates in Health Self Management, Ergonomics, Higher Education, Counselling and Careers Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Pain Management.
Lyn joins Injury Treatment as a Pain Management and Tail Claims Management specialist and currently shares her time between Injury Treatment and the WorkCover Research Centre of Excellence – University of Newcastle, Ourimbah, NSW, as a Senior Research Fellow. Where she participates in the development and evaluation of research projects for WorkCover NSW.
Ms. Monica Ahluwalia
Exercise Physiologist
Monica Ahluwalia is an Exercise Physiologist and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport & Exercise Science). She has over 3 years experience working in private practice and occupational health in Australia and Dubai.
Monica has had over 5 years experience in corporate health and fitness, and has worked with major companies to implement and deliver work place health programs. Prior to this Monica was a conditioning coach who trained athletes and elite level sport persons.
Monica’s special interests are in the provision of exercise provision and rehabilitation services. Monica is experienced at identifying and preventing injuries within a variety of workplaces through assessment and exercise rehabilitation. She is currently a member of The Association of Exercise and Sport Science.
Ms. Joanne Russell
Exercise Physiologist
Joanne is an accredited exercise physiologist with over 4 years of occupational rehab experience, including training & consulting. Prior to joining Injury Treatment Joanne spent 3 years as a Senior Injury Manager with large NSW Employer.
Joanne is a specialist case manager who is extremely experienced in high level case conferencing & negotiation with all parties including the injured worker, employer & NTD. Ms. Russell is experienced in the provision of case management and one off services.
Mr. Minh-Tri Le
Physiotherapist
Mr. Minh-Tri Le is a physiotherapist and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Minh-Tri has also completed an Interpersonal Communication & Mediation course, and is in the process of completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
He has 4 years experience in pain management research & clinical rehabilitation, and movement coaching. He also has 3 years experience in OH&S injury prevention, RTW and manual handling consultancy.
Minh-Tri is regarded as an expert in the clinical management of complex clients with persistent pain, and has experience as a specialist consultant in long-standing claims. The success of his results are attributed to his ability to clinically manage clients “outside of the square”, clear identification and insight into psychosocial barriers, and his genuine communication & compassion to help others.
Ms. Phoebe Harpham
Occupational Therapist
Phoebe has completed a Bachelor in occupational Therapy and joined Injury Treatment following extensive experience in the provision of rehabilitation services in the NSW CTP market. Phoebe has over 4 years of experience in the provision of rehabilitation case management services.
Phoebe is experienced in the provision of high quality case management services aimed at delivering consistent outcomes for her customers. Phoebe is also has extensive experience in the delivery of ADL and Home assessment services through her CTP market experience.
Ms. Kelsey Morrissey
Exercise Physiologist / Occupational Therapist
Ms. Morrissey has completed a Masters of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science (Sports Science). Ms Morrissey has worked clinically in a private practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. Ms Morrissey has several years experience in occupational rehabilitation performing case management services, completing workplace assessments and functional capacity evaluations (FCE’s).
Ms. Morrissey has completed the ErgoScience Physical Work Performance Evaluation (PWPE) functional capacity training and is experienced in conducting functional capacity evaluations to assist with the return to work process and alternatively pre-employment screening.
Ms. Morrissey is passionate about assisting people to achieve their goals and has a strong interest in the prevention of injuries.
Ms. Megan Smee
Physiotherapist
Ms. Smee (MPHTY B. ExScRehab (Hons) MAPA) has completed a Masters of Physiotherapy and a four year degree in Exercise Science specialising in Rehabilitation. During her career Ms. Smee has worked for over 5 years in occupational rehabilitation performing case management, designing and conducting functional rehabilitation programs and completing workplace assessment and functional capacity evaluations (FCE’s).
Ms. Smee has completed the WorkHab functional capacity training and is experienced in writing these specific FCE reports. During the time spent working in occupational rehabilitation, Megan has lectured to General Practitioners regarding FCE’s specifically; when to refer, for what purposes and what information themselves, the insurer and the workplace would gain from such an assessment.
Dr. Mark Stewart
Physiotherapist
Dr Mark Stewart (PhD MPH (Hons) BAppSc (Phty) Grad Cert (Higher education) MAPA) is a principal physiotherapist at Kensington Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic with over 15 years clinical experience.
Dr. Stewart is the author of 8 peer reviewed publications focussing on spinal assessment, treatment and whiplash. Particular areas of interest include chronic spinal pain, functionally-based rehabilitation programs, objective functional assessment and exercise. His doctorate involved an investigation into exercise based treatments for persons with chronic whiplash. As part of this work Dr Stewart examined the reliability and responsiveness of outcome measures used to assess chronic neck pain.
Dr Stewart acts as a consultant for both the Motor Accidents Authority of NSW and the Trauma and Recovery Centre in South Australia to develop guidelines for the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of whiplash. He has been widely published both nationally and internationally. He has been an invited reviewer for both national and international journals. Dr Stewart also has formal teaching qualifications. He has worked as a lecturer at the School of Physiotherapy, University of Sydney where he still gives invited lectures. Dr Stewart splits his time between his clinical work and his consultancies.
Ms. Michelle Munro
Rehabilitation Counsellor
With training in Psychology and Post Graduate studies Rehabilitation Counseling together with over 15 years experience in the occupational rehabilitation field, Ms. Munro possesses superior experience in the case management and return to work of complex cases specifically psychological work related injuries. Ms. Munro’s wealth of industry knowledge and excellent reputation within the rehabilitation field makes her a resourceful and inspired rehabilitation professional.
Ms. Munro has worked for both government and private occupational rehabilitation providers. She has worked in management and coaching roles. Her experience in legislation involves extensive work within the NSW WorkCover Scheme, COMCARE, CTP and Income Protection/Life Insurance arenas.
Ms. Munro demonstrates an inventive approach to her work resulting in her ability to successfully manage complex claims with outcome focused results.
Ms Munro is also an expert in the conduction of Section 40 Assessments, and Medicolegal work.
In addition to the above Ms Munro has demonstrated excellence in the management of comprehensive long-term claims and all aspects of job seeking and placement. As part of this Ms. Munro specializes in the provision of vocational assessment, vocational counselling, labour market analysis and transferable skills analysis which enables successful management of return to work programs and redeployment programs for all claimants.
Ms. Munro has been involved in the creation, development and implementation of many job-seeking programs for both tail and non-tail claimants and as such is more than capable of supervising job placement agencies and ensuring an outcome is achieved.
Ms. Munro has 15 years experience in managing tail claims and has been involved in the design, development and implementation of several NSW Tail Claims Projects. Ms. Munro continues to be motivated and passionate for her work within the rehabilitation field, driven to ensure a successful outcome for all stakeholders involved.
Mr. Clint Marlborough
Psychologist
Clint Marlborough is an innovative and dynamic Registered Psychologist with over eight years professional services experience. He has extensive expertise working within a variety of settings and organisational structures, and he has operated in both private and government organisations of varying sizes. Mr Marlborough has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and he has demonstrated a proven ability to effectively liaise with individuals and groups at all levels of an organisation.
Mr Marlborough has extensive Occupational Rehabilitation experience, including case management, vocational assessments, workplace job selection, psychological assessments, psychological treatment, mediation, research, performance enhancement, and the design, implementation and delivery of psychologically based training and development packages. He has also developed well defined skills regarding organisational interventions and consultancy, with an emphasis upon being able to treat individual clients, whilst also being able to feed back and implement appropriate organisational changes. Further, Mr Marlborough has had recent experience delivering psychological interventions within the Medicare system, and he has previously worked in acute psychiatric hospital settings and with organisations providing long-term psychological care for people with a diagnosed mental illness.
Mr Marlborough served as a Psychology Officer in the Australian Army for six years, where he was able to provide a broad spectrum of psychological interventions in a number of environmental and clinical settings, both within Australia and overseas on active duty. As a result, he has developed extensive interest and expertise in the treatment of psychological trauma for which he was specifically recognised with a military commendation in 2007. He has also completed training on trauma with the Australian Centre for Post-traumatic Mental Health, and he has three years experience working with the Australian Army’s elite Special Forces.
Ms. Annele Schoeffel
Consultant Life Coach
With over 30 years industry experience, Ms. Schoeffel is an extremely motivated, resourceful, reputable and experienced Industry Consultant. She has exceptional expertise in professional coaching, consultancy and training which she has acquired throughout her career in the human resources, injury management and rehabilitation industries. Ms. Schoeffel is experienced and knowledgeable with all aspects of the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, Claimant Entitlements; Premium Calculations and Stakeholder Responsibilities.
Ms. Schoeffel has been successful in the creation, design, implementation and management of many large tail claim projects and initiatives in Australia. This has been evidenced throughout her long-term career in the workers compensation industry and her outstanding and ongoing reputation.
Ms. Schoeffel’s underlying capabilities include: Executive coaching and mentoring; Workplace mediation and dispute resolution; Leadership and management development; Development and delivery of individual and group learning programs; Workshop design and delivery / Skills assessment, career transition and outplacement.
Ms. Schoeffel has at least 20 years experience in the design, development and management of tail claims projects.
Diane Beaglehole
Quality Manager
(Psychologist)
Ms. Beaglehole originally qualified as a psychologist in New Zealand. At ACC in New Zealand, Diane was member of a 3 member policy team that reviewed and revised work capacity testing legislation for long term claimants. She then acted as a key steering committee advisor to the implementation team.
Other career highlights at ACC had a focus on rehabilitation for long term or non-progressive workers compensation claimants, including: development and implementation of an ACC centre-of-excellence occupational medical service, that was subsequently rolled out as a national service; development, implementation and management of a medical case review system the provided second opinions to GPs as the basis for negotiation of medical certification changes for non-progressive cases
As General Manager of a private claims and case management company, responsible for the design and delivery of Specialist Tail Management services to ACC. This was a 2 year contract valued in excess of $1 million.
In her current position, Ms. Beaglehole ensures all Injury Treatment staff continue to provide outcome focused interventions which exceed industry benchmarks. She also is closely involved in Injury Treatment’s customer base with the purpose of obtaining constructive feedback for product improvement and strategy intervention.
Dr. Scott Byrne
Consultant Sports Physician
Dr. Burne (MBBS MSpMed BSc FACSP) works as a Medical Consultant with Injury Treatment. He manages all acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, as well as all medical problems that arise from (or are complicated by) exercise. Workplace injuries and illnesses form a regular aspect to his work. Consultations include a complete history and examination, followed by an evidence-based management plan. When referring, Dr. Burne recommends the services of highly-regarded colleagues in medical and paramedical fields.
Dr Burne is Team Doctor for the Opals Australian Women’s Basketball (2004 Athens Olympic Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2006 World Championships) and will continue this involvement at The 2008 Beijing Olympics. In addition, he is a Team Doctor for the Balmain Tigers Rugby League. Previous sports coverage also includes NSW Rugby Union (state juniors, Sydney Grade and Colts), Australian Rugby League (Canberra Raiders, Wests Tigers), State Cricket and National Athletics.
In 2000 Dr Burne worked as Medical Officer for the Sydney Olympic Games, Sydney Paralympic Games, and The Arafura Games in 1998. He also worked for 12 years with the Australian Defence Force. He is a Visiting Fellow of the UNSW Sports Medicine Programs, an internationally renowned post-graduate course for doctors.
