Injury Treatment welcomes applications from an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist seeking variety as a Clinical Consultant within our successful and innovative occupational rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of a caseload of up to 25 clients with a broad range of injuries / disabilities within the WorkCover, Comcare and CTP systems

• Facilitation of discipline specific assessments to determine clients’ rehabilitation needs – initial assessment, workplace assessment, functional assessment, medical case conference, physiotherapy / ADL assessments

• Provision of discipline specific treatment services – physiotherapy treatment services if applicable

• Liaison with a broad range of stakeholders, including insurers, employers, unions and treating health professionals to facilitate effective rehabilitation outcomes

• Negotiating with a range of stakeholders including GP’s, Specialists, Allied Health Professionals and Injured Workers

• Account Management and Business Development opportunities

• Alongside training and consulting manager, to deliver training services to corporate clients, specifically focusing on minimising the risk of workplace injury, illness and absenteeism

This is an opportunity for a 50/50 hybrid role for registered psychologists – involving clinical treatment and assessment as well as vocational rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of a caseload of up to 25 clients with a broad range of injuries / disabilities within the WorkCover, Comcare and CTP systems in ACT / Southern NSW Regions

• Facilitation of discipline specific assessments to determine clients’ rehabilitation needs – initial assessment, vocational assessment and medical case conferences

• Provision of discipline specific treatment services – psychological treatment services if applicable
