Whiplash Injury:
Whiplash injury is a common injury to the neck experienced in car accidents or any injury where there is quick, forceful movement of the neck on the shoulders. The injury occurs because the discs, joints and muscles in the neck are stretched forward or backward beyond their normal range of movement. It is common for the symptoms to arise some time after the actual incident, even up to three days.

Symptoms include a dull ache and tightness in the neck with associated headache and sometimes pain and other symptoms down the arms.
